Over the years, we do try, when we have enough time to go through the original tapes and work on restoring the matches from the old NHB-Battle catalogue. We have been steadily replacing the matches on our website where possible and occasionally we stumble across matches that we have never ever released since our launch 4 years ago.
Part of the challenge with restoring from the original Hi8 tapes is finding a player or camera and then a converter to digitise the footage into something we can edit. Once a player and converter is found, we run into the next challenge with the tape itself. Having not been touched in years, the quality does wear down, and we need to spend extra time tweaking and correcting colours etc. to the best that we can.
So we are excited to release our first "lost" match made available for download the very first time featuring Denny Webb vs. Tino Bravado for download. Fans of both wrestlers will be pleased to see that both of them in peak form, and we are working on releasing more lost matches in the months to come.
We are working on improving our services so as to deliver a better experience for our customers and fans. We want to have an understanding on how you download and watch Movimus Wrestling matches. We appreciate it if you can help us with this short survey so that we have a better sense of what we should do moving forward.
If you have been with Movimus Wrestling for a long time, you would have known that we were one of the first companies in the underground submission wrestling space to film in HD and 4K when it became feasible to do so. However, prior to that, we had plenty of matches that were filmed in Hi-8 formats and were released in Standard Definition resolution ("SD").
